Daddy is an Indian political crime drama movie directed and co-written by Ashim Ahluwalia. The film stars Arjun Rampal, who also co-wrote the film is portraying gangster-turned-politician Arun Gawli. It also features South Indian actress Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role. The official teaser of the Arjun Rampal starrer movie was released on December 1, 2016. Daddy is presented by Kundalini Entertainment and Karta Entertainment. The movie was released across the world on September 8, 2017.

Ashim Ahluwalia is expert at making movies on gangsters. Daddy movie has also been directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. Mumbaians know very well about the rise of Gawli. An out of work mill workers’ son. Who came from a very poor background. Arjun Rampal has impressed with their performance. The first half of the movie shows the growth of Gawli and second half shows that what kind of family man he was.
